This species native of India;
Burma; northern Thailand; Laos; Vietnam and China usually develops into
a large plants with many inflorescences from the same cane-like
pseudobulb year after year; are pendulous and carry very many flowers up
to 4cm.-(1.5”) across. Psbs. grow close together, are
upright, slender and up to 45cm.-(18”) tall, bearing several dark
green leaves at the apex. The
flowers only last for 5-7 days in perfect condition, sepals and petals
are white, the lip is golden yellow. |
